We are staying at the Yacht Club but want to go Animal Lodge for dinner what is the best way to get there and back we are not eating until 8pm

    Welcome to planDisney, Sonja!

You are going to absolutely love staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort! I think this is one of the best hotels on property. I spent a fair bit of time at that Resort this past December. It's extremely elegant and very relaxing. I even miss the smell! If you can, make sure you enjoy a tasty meal at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The steaks will change your life! Also, the Ale & Compass Restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem and has a really nice lounge area.

I also love the restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I stayed here during my last trip. Jiko – The Cooking Place, Saana, and Boma - Flavors of Africa are three of the best restaurants in Walt Disney World. If you eat at Saana, make sure you order the Indian-style Bread Service.

But let's get to your question! There's not a direct bus between the hotels. Therefore, if you want to use the complimentary Disney transportation, I'd recommend taking the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This will take you about 20 minutes (plus the amount of time it takes to walk to the station). From there, you can then hop on a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you'd like a much-faster option, you can simply pay for an Uber or Lyft to take you from your hotel to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Honestly, if I were in your shoes (or sandals), I'd sacrifice a little bit of money to save a whole lot of time.

I hope that's helpful, Sonja! Have a wonderful time.
