We are staying at Yacht Club in a couple of weeks. We requested a microwave in our room. Is there a charge if our request is granted? I read it could be $25 per night and when I made the request it wasn't mentioned.

Hello, Jessica! Thank you for “warming” up to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask about your vacation. I’m “simmering” with ingredients to make your magical vacation more delicious!

An in-room Microwave is listed as a Room Attribute for guests staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, so as long as you have entered a request, I do not see that there would be an extra charge for it. A Cast Member on the reservations end will try to make sure that you get into a room with a microwave.  Of course, as with any room request, it is not guaranteed, but Cast Members will do what they can to make sure the request is met.

There is a microwave in the Beach Club Marketplace as well, which may be a step from Yacht Club, but you are welcome to warm items bought from the quick service counter as well as items brought from home. I hope your vacation doesn’t leave you hungry, but leads you back for a second helping of magic! ~ Lindsey P.
