We're staying at the Yacht Club & have a 10am breakfast at Chef MIckey's. What's the best way to get there? I'd like to use the monorail, but can we board at Epcot if we aren't using a park pass that day? Also, how long will it take us to get there? Th

Hi Caroline, The Yacht Club is one of my favorite Resorts...great choice!

At Epcot, the monorail is located outside the front entrance to the Park. If you are not using a Park Pass, you won't be able to enter through Epcot's International Gateway (near the Yacht Club) to walk through the Park to get to the monorail. You could, however, get on either an Epcot or Magic Kingdom bus from the Yacht Club and walk to the monorail station (near the front entrance of either Park). You can then ride the monorail to Chef Mickey's from that point.

I would give yourself at least an hour travel time. The buses come every 20 minutes or so. Due to the fact that you aren't heading to a particular Park, jump on the first bus that comes that is headed to either Epcot or Magic Kingdom. You'll walk to the monorail from there and ride it to the Contemporary Resort. You are supposed to check in at least 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time. Chef Mickey's takes a family photo prior to seating you, and if you arrive a little early there are some neat shops to browse in the Contemporary lobby.

Hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation!
