As I am staying at the Yacht Club. Can I alternately take the boat to the front of Epcot and then take the express monorail to the Magic Kingdom to catch my 8:15am tour? I am not sure on the hours of operation of the boat or the express monorail. Thanks!

    Hi again, Laura!
Thanks for coming back with another question. I LOVE both the Yacht and Beach Club resorts!! I think their location is one of the best in all of Walt Disney World.
That said, I need to tell you a couple of things about your plan. First, the water shuttles do not let you off at the front/main entrance to EPCOT. Instead, you enter EPCOT at the International Gateway between France and the United Kingdom (basically the middle fo the park). You would then have to walk to the main entrance to then catch the monorail. And that's on a regular day. Unless EPCOT was having Morning Extra Magic Hours, it would probably not yet be open for the timeframe you are considering. In addition, there is no express monorail from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom. From EPCOT, you would first need to disembark at the Ticket and Transportation Center and reboard a Magic Kingdom-bound monorail on a different track. Lots of logistical maneuvering and lots of lost time.
So, I guess that leaves 3 options: a rental car, if you have one (free theme park parking for resort guests), the Disney Transportation System (bus), or a taxi to either the Contemporary or the Polynesian resorts. My first instinct remains the taxi.
I hope this makes sense to you. If not, please let me know what else you may be considering.
