Hi Keith! Welcome to planDisney!
Your arrival is fast approaching! I'm sure the excitement level is growing! Whether you can visit Walt Disney World for four days or fourteen, your vacation is still going to be magical as ever. And who knows, maybe when you arrive, some pixie dust will fly your way and you can make use of the additional days left on your ticket!
With
Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista being an Official Walt Disney World Hotel, you'll have a few perks that will make your time spent there that much more enjoyable. First, it is located in a convenient area within walking distance to Disney Springs. You have access to several fabulous restaurants, including
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and
The BOATHOUSE. Each one has wildly different menu offerings but both have some of the best food and drink selections around. Second, you can also take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry to any of the four theme parks each day! If you're an early riser like me, you can enter 30 minutes earlier than other Guests and be able to fit more attractions into your day!
Believe it or not, every Guest regardless of where you are staying can make their first
Disney Genie+ selection starting at 7 AM EST. You will have competition from anyone who decides to wake up early and book their first reservation. To purchase Disney Genie+, you'll need to download the
My Disney Experience App to your mobile device. On the morning of your park day, log on to your account and tap on the three horizontal bars located on the bottom right corner of your screen. Select "My Genie Day" and then locate the purple bar that reads "Get Disney Genie+ for Today". Tap on that and follow the prompts for purchase. Make sure to do this before 7 AM EST so you do not miss out on your first booking selection. You will need to purchase the service each morning of a park day to use it. (There is an option to purchase Genie+ before your trip, but it would need to be for the entire length of your tickets. Since you are only visiting for 4 out of 14 days, I don't think this will be a cost-effective option for you.)
I would try to use Disney Genie+ and Early Theme Park Entry to your advantage. If there are two popular rides that you definitely want to get on, make a Genie+ selection for one, and enter the park 30 minutes early to get in line for the other one. With a head start on other Guests, you should be able to have a minimal wait time, if not walk right on.
Keith, I hope you have an amazing Walt Disney World holiday! Enjoy your time being part of the
World's Most Magical Celebration!
See ya real soon!
