We are staying at the WL(1st time at a Deluxe Resort) this Sept.with our 3 year old (#1 princess&castle fan!)& our 8 month old. We're returning in Dec. & have the choice of staying at the WL again or Contemp. Which do you recommend?

Personally, I'm a big fan of trying everything once.  Okay, maybe not everything, but most things.  And that of course includes trying each of the resort hotels at my favorite vacation destination, Walt Disney World.  If you are anything like me then, I would suggest giving the Contemporary Resort a try during your December stay.  Not only would the experience be new and different for your family, but there are a lot of other bonuses that would come hand in hand with a stay at the Contemporary.

    Consider these things:
    - Staying at a monorail resort would allows for quick and convenient travel to the Magic Kingdom (and you don't even have to take the kids out of the stroller for the ride over!)
-Chef Mickeys (a big hit with the toddler/preschool set) is located right inside the Contemporary
-Of all the deluxe resorts, the standard rooms at the Contemporary are the most spacious (at approximately 422 square feet)

If I were making the decision for my family, I'd definitely opt to give the Contemporary a try.  Of course, the Wilderness Lodge is gorgeously decorated at Christmas time, but you could always hop over to admire the decorations without actually staying there.  Good luck with your decision!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
