We're staying at the WLnext week. We already have reservations for different meals throughout our stay. We want to go to Whispering Canyons for breakfast or dinner, do we need reservations? I don't want to schedule our trip around meals too much.

You're going to stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge next week, Jennifer? I'm SO excited for you! Can I come too?

While reservations are not required for breakfast or dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe, I would make some reservations if I were you. This is probably more likely to be an issue if you wish to dine at popular hours, especially for dinner. In the numerous times we've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge we noticed that the restaurant tends to be busier in the evenings when all kinds of antics are going on with the servers and kids in the dining room. If you already know that you want to be a part of that, call (407) WDW-DINE and book a reservation. You can always call later to cancel that reservation if your plans change.
