Staying at WL. We have a 2 yr old what is the best area to stay in? I know you can request woods view, to be near lobby, boat launch, etc. What would you recommend? Is there a room with a fireworks view? Thanks! My mom will have an electric scooter. Thanks

Oh Stephanie, you are staying at my family's favorite spot. Stepping into Disney's Wilderness Lodge is like walking into another century. No matter how hot the central Florida weather is during your stay take a few minutes to sit by the big-enough-to-hold-a-family fireplace at one end of the soaring lobby.

Typically requesting the type of room you want works better than asking for a specific area since this gives Cast Members more flexibility to grant your wish. With a two year old in tow and a scooter riding mom along you might want to be practical and stay near the boat launch. Since this is a magical vacation, however, you should consider requesting a room where you can see the fireworks and/or the Electrical Water Pageant.

Consider a meal in the lobby at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Bottomless milkshakes are one of their specialties.
