I think your daughter will absolutely have a blast at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! The last time we went, like you, I was a little nervous that the money would be wasted on our then 3 year old daughter. I went back and forth between booking the reservation, and waiting a few years.
I am so excited to tell you that she LOVED it! She clapped along with the songs, loved the loud stomping, and kooky jokes! In fact, we laughed the rest of the trip because out of nowhere, she kept humming the tune to the theme song followed by a loud "HOOP DEE DOO" in her tiny little voice! So with that being said, I think your entire family will have a knee-slappin good time at Hoop-Dee-Doo.
Another one of our favorite nighttime activities is Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long and Movie located at Fort WIlderness Campground. Be sure to bring a blanket and some marshmallows... I have even been known to show up in my jammies! The program is open to all guests of Disney Resort hotels and begins around 7pm (8 seasonally) with the lighting of two fire rings and a sing a long performance by Chip and Dale! This production is followed by a Disney movie on the big screen under the stars!
If you decide to go to
Downtown Disney, be sure to visit a few of my daughter's favorite locales: The Lego Store, Goofy's Candy Kitchen, and Once Upon a Toy. There are also a few kiddie rides such as a cute miniature train and a carousel which I'm sure your little princess would enjoy!
If spending a quiet night at the hotel sounds like the right plan, please note that the resorts show evening movies under the stars. Be sure to grab a schedule at the front desk when you check in!
