Staying at the WL and have a 7:20am reserv for breakfast at Chef Mickey. Planning on taking the boat from WL. Do you know if the boats operate that early and how long does it take to get there by boat? Need to know how early to leave.

There is a resort-only boat that begins around 6:45 a.m. and services the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness resorts in that order.  I'd definitely plan on getting to the pier around 6:30 a.m. so you've got plenty of room for wait times.  The boat ride is about 20 minutes with the stop at the fort.

FYI: If it looks like you won't get a boat by 7 a.m., head up to the motor court at the resort and take a taxi to the Contemporary.  It's less than 5 minutes away!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
