Staying at WL in November in courtyard room. Thinking about staying in a studio in the villas, but I really don't see an advantage to doing that. There isn't a washer and dryer, there is one less bed (pull out bed does not count in my opinion) & more

    Hi Debra,

Thanks for writing!  I'm a Disney Vacation Club member and have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and Villas at Wilderness Lodge many times.  I tend to agree with you in terms of which venue to call home on your Disney World trip. The accommodations are certainly similar.  The studios at the villas are about the same size as a standard room at the Lodge.  Some guests prefer the sleeper sofa, because during the day, when it's closed, you'll have some extra "move around" room.  The studio has a slightly bigger refrigerator than found in the rooms at the Lodge, and it also has a sink (separate from the bathroom sink) and microwave.  You'll find a few convenience items such as paper plates for making/having meals inside your room.  There truly isn't that much difference between the two, so if you prefer to be in the main Lodge, I'd go ahead and book there.  That being said, the Villas are beautiful and have their own quiet pool which is lovely.  Happy planning!
