Staying at WL last week of Sept and plan to have dinner at Whispering Canyon then head to Chip N Dale Campfire...what is the best way to get there?

    Hi Corie,

I really enjoy Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.  I think that it is truly one of the hidden gems at Walt Disney World.  My family and I so enjoy it whenever we attend!

The trip from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is really fun.  If you're feeling up to it and have time, there is a path that you can walk to get from one resort to another.  From what I understand, this is about a 15 to 20 minute walk and the path is not well-lit, so you might want to consider this as a way to get there but not for coming home late at night in the dark.  I think that the most fun way to travel between Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is by boat.  There is a boat which will take you directly between the two resorts, and the ride on Bay Lake is lovely.  Just look for the signs when you get to Disney's Wilderness Lodge boats for which boat to take - I believe it is the one with the blue flag.

The boat will drop you off at the Settlement Area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  From there, you need to get to the Meadow area for Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.  This is easy enough - from the boat, simply walk through the Settlement Area to the bus stop.  Then refer to the map to take any bus which will pass the Meadow - we use the yellow bus line.

I know that this sounds like a lot of travel, but on a nice night, it is a pleasant journey, and well-worth it for a fun experience at Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.  I hope that this information helps, Corie, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
