Staying at WL in Jan, standard room...do any standard rooms have one king size bed? Or can we request that one of the queen beds be removed for the crib? I don't want the room to be cramped. If we can't, I will just ask for bed rails. Thanks!

    Hi there Amanda!

Let me start by saying you have excellent taste in Disney resorts.  Disney's Wilderness Lodge if my favorite resort in the whole world!  There's nothing like basking in the ambiance of that amazing lobby.  I'm so excited about your family's upcoming trip in January.  You're going to have so much fun!

I double-checked with the reservation specialists at the Walt Disney Travel Company and they confirmed my suspicion that king-size beds are only available in rooms with either a woods or courtyard view.  Your room with a standard view will have two queen-size beds.  These beds are far too heavy to move. Therefore, you might want to consider the bed rails option instead.

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust in January!  Let us know if you have any additional questions about Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  It is a favorite among many of us here on the Moms Panel.
