    Staying at WL in Jan 2013 and booking dining reservations now. I have to provide credit card guarantee. My friend is using her Other Guest staff discount to add my dining plan at the 3 week window, so do I have to cancel and rebook?

    Hey Amanda!

    Thank you so much for stopping by to see us today!  That's awesome you're able to get a discounted Disney Dining Plan for your vacation.  Your Advanced Dining Reservations should not need to be rebooked when the DDP is added to your reservation.  The credit card guarantee does not go towards the cost of your meal.  It is simply to guarantee your ADR.  You will be charged a fee if you are a "no show" for the reservation. If you have booked any ADR's which required prepayment, simply call 407-WDW-DINE after you have the DDP added to your booking and the Cast Member can apply the DDP credit to the reservation and refund your credit card.
