We are staying at the WL and have breakfast at 11:20 at 1900 Park Fare. We plan on hanging at the pool before heading to AK. Realistically, how long will it take us to travel to GF from WL and back? I may cancel the reservation if it eats up too much time.

    Hello, Sharon!

Thank you for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's an honor to help you plan for such a special breakfast!

You commute time will largely depend on your transportation choices. Because of that, I'll go over your options to help you find the perfect one to cover the two miles that separate the two locations.

In my opinion, the best and fastest transportation option to get from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a Minnie Van. You can request one through the Lyft App and enjoy the ride. The Minnie Vans are so cute that they're as fun as an attraction!

Considering a 5-minute pick up time, you would probably be able to arrive at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in no more than 15 minutes. You can also use rideshare services like Lyft and Uber, or decide for a rental car.

Guests with dining reservations can enjoy complimentary parking at all Disney Resort hotels. If you're already planning on renting a car, that would also be a cost-effective option.

You can also choose to use the complimentary transportation offered by the Walt Disney World Resort. You will find buses and boats available for this route, but they would probably result in a longer leisurely-paced journey, perhaps around 40 minutes.

I hope this information helps you choose the best option to allow you to make the most of your day, Sharon!

I couldn't think of a better plan than starting at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, having fun at the pools at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and ending the day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

I hope my advice is useful and that you come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as more questions pop up, Sharon. We're always here to help kind Guests like you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
