We will be staying at WL 9/18 - 9/24... Have b'fast ADR for CRT @ 8:20am on 9/19... How early do the ferries run from the WL? how much time should we allow? or should we go another way? we will have our car.... Thanks, love the panel... priceless info!!

    Hi there Elizabeth!

I love the Wilderness Lodge Resort it's one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World! I checked various resources and the earliest way to get to Magic Kingdom besides driving is to take the Blue water launches which operate from 6:45 in the morning until 11:30 at night and run from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary back to Wilderness Lodge. I would make sure that if you have an 8:20 AM reservation, you need to get to the dock as soon as possible because the launches do take a decent amount of time to return. You will also need to walk from the Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom. It's not far, but if you allow time, it can be much more pleasant than running through the resort trying to make the reservation.

Since you do have your car, you can also drive to the park and take the first Monorail to Magic Kingdom. Parking is free because you are a resort guest and the lot is open very early. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
