Staying at WL in August. Is there a direct bus to typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach? What are the approx travel times? If we plan on traveling to waterparks a few days, is it worth renting a car? Thanks.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!

In my experience, Disney's Wilderness Lodge does not have a direct route to each of the water parks. Instead, one bus shares stops at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park while another bus shares stops at Downtown Disney Area and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Therefore, when using the Walt Disney World® Bus Service I usually plan a minimum of 60 minutes travel time to allow for stops, traffic or construction congestion, especially near Downtown Disney. Renting a car will offer you more flexibility and convenience when traveling between resort areas and water parks. I suggest considering your preferences and looking at crowd levels to help you decide.
