We are staying at WL and would like to take advantage of a night out while the kids enjoy Cubs Den. We have them lined up for 4 hours. Is Downtown Disney too far to go for travel, dinner and a little walking around? Any suggestions? Psyched!

    Hi Suzanne!

My husband and I love to spend an evening together while the kiddos enjoy the Children's Activity Centers like the Cub's Den. Personally, I like to stay close and have really enjoyed touring the monorail resorts when we're staying in the Magic Kingdom Resort area. While the answer is yes, Downtown Disney can certainly be an option for you, I'd suggest traveling via taxi. The Downtown Disney buses, in my experience, can take up quite a bit of time. The dining options are all really fantastic with Raglan Road, Portobello and Paradiso 37 as a few of my favorites. You'll have a magical evening. Be sure to book Advanced Dining Reservations as early as 180-days prior to arrival. You can do so online or by calling 407-939-3463.

I hope my answer was helpful, Suzanne, and let me know if you need further recommendations for your evening out. I'm happy to help.

    Best wishes,
    Sherri
