We are staying at the Wilderness Villas. I would like to take my kids to the All-Star Resort for a "Dalmatian experience". Do you think it is worth the time and effort to visit the resort? What could we do there? How would be the easiest way the

    Hi Amy,

You are so lucky to be staying at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  That's my favorite place to stay at Walt Disney World.  Your kids are going to love the amenities at this extraordinary deluxe Disney resort.  I bet they'll love the hidden Mickey hunt and the fun activities at Silver Creek Springs Pool each day.  Tell them to look for the ducks that swim in the resort pool and to listen for the sound of crickets on property each night.  I bet they'll have fun spotting animal prints in the side walks too.

As for visiting Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, it's not difficult to get there.  I suggest you take the quick four-minute bus ride to the Magic Kingdom from your home resort.  Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom bus stop, transfer to an All-Star Movies Resort bus.

There are great photo opportunities with 101 Dalmatians icons at this resort but you won't necessarily find "Dalmatian experiences" there.  If your kids would enjoying seeing and being photographed with the Dalmatians, then it's worth the trip.  You could always combine the visit with a lunch in the resort food court.  Otherwise, I'm not sure it is a wise use of your valuable vacation time.

Wishing you all a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
