We are going to be staying at the Wilderness Resort in December. I have heard about a campfire sing along and am wondering if you know when that is and if I need to register ahead of time? If so how would I do that? Wondering about horses as well. :

    Kelly:

You must be talking about Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-along. You can read all about it here, but in a nutshell, the evening begins when the fire pots are lit at 6:30 p.m. Standard Time. (The evening's events start an hour later during Daylight Savings Time.) Bring your own coat hanger along with some marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make s'mores. By 7 p.m., Chip 'n' Dale move through the crowds while a signing cowboy (or cowgirl) leads everyone in a sing-a-long for about 20 minutes. There are no reservations, and as long as you arrive about 15 minutes early, you should be able to find a seat.

The Tri-Circle D Ranch is located at the front of Fort Wilderness and houses the fort's trail horses. The stable near Pioneer Hall provides the home to the horses seen at Magic Kingdom along with a pony ride. The fort also sports carriage and wagon rides. You'll want to make reservations for the trail rides at 407-WDW-PLAY.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
