Fort Wilderness is going to be a fun time. I'm counting the days until my family stays in that area again. It's my pleasure to share what I know about parking at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Here's some great news for you, Lesley: Standard parking at the theme parks is entirely complimentary with a Disney World Resort hotel reservation. Yes, this also includes your check-in and check-out days! Simply scan your
MagicBand+ or
Disney MagicMobile device at the parking attendant's booth and head into the parking lot (given that the lot is not at capacity).
Currently, you are able to board the boat that runs over to the BoardWalk area from
Hollywood Studios. I still haven't tried the
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs food options yet, but I've heard that it's delish. And those mozzarella sticks look heavenly!
AN EXTRA GEM: When you park your vehicle, use the
My Disney Experience app's Car Locator feature. It's super convenient to take note of which parking lot section your car is in. One time, I spent nearly an hour looking for my car because I was so eager to get into the parks. Don't be like me (haha) and use this free tool.
