Staying at Ft. Wilderness next June. I understand we will take a boat to Magic Kingdom. What mode of transportation is available to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studio.

    Hi there, Mary Jane!

Getting around the World using Disney transportation is reasonably uncomplicated, but yo are certainly savvy in trying to plan ahead. There are trips that will require changes of buses/monorails, etc., and you will want to take that into account as you plan your itinerary.

As you mentioned, there is direct boat launch service from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom.

The internal bus system is color-coded: Purple, Orange and Yellow, and traverse the park between the Outpost Depot by the Resort entrance, and the Settlement Depot, near the marina in the back of the Resort.

To get to the Magic Kingdom, catch a bus to the Settlement Depot, and head to the marina for your complimentary water launch.

To get to Epcot, you can either take a bus to the Outpost Depot and catch the Epcot bus, or you could take the water launch to the Magic Kingdom, ride the Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and transfer to the Epcot monorail.

To get to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, you'll need to catch a bus to the Outpost Depot and again, take the relevant bus.

    Happy trails to you!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
