Hi! We will be staying at Ft. Wilderness in May & have an AR for breakfast at CRT at 8:35 one morning. I was wondering if you think we have enough time to take the boat from the campground to the Magic Kingdom for breakfast or if we should drive. Tha

Hi Sarah!  I spend a lot of time in Fort Wilderness as we have a motor coach and love the peacefulness of that resort area.

Absolutely take the boat in the morning to reach the Magic Kingdom!  The boats will begin running at 6:30am for those with early dining reservations in the park. You simply head to the marina via the internal bus system if you are in the cabins or walk if you have a close campsite loop. (Or use a golf cart if you choose to rent one during your stay...there is ample parking at the marina.)  The boats to the Magic Kingdom will drop you off literally directly in front of the park with only a few steps to the entrance gates. This ride will take about 15 minutes and if you tried to drive this would take you anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour! By the time you parked, hopped on the parking lot shuttle, arrived at either the ferry or monorail and took that trip to the park entrance you could probably take the boat ride back and forth yet again! The boat is easy and much quicker then driving!  E

    Enjoy the Fort!
