We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and was wondering if I should make any room requests? Like Ground, Upper or High? Or near the Elevator? It's 2 adults and a 4 1/2 year old

Hi, Joshua! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having stayed at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge myself I can tell you that you are in for a real treat! From the moment that you enter that awe inspiring lobby, you will be hooked on this great Disney Resort hotel! Here are a few things to keep in mind when making room requests:

-Rooms near elevators tend to be noisier as there is more traffic. This may be an issue for a light sleeper, but I enjoy the convenience!

-Rooms with doors facing the grand lobby might be a little noisier due to the echoing from Whispering Canyon Cafe. If you happen to dine here, ask for the ketchup, I dare you!

-We had an upper room with the lobby facing North and we could see the fireworks (at the time, it was Wishes Nighttime Spectacular) above the trees. Keep in mind, it can be loud!

Don’t forget to check out the Electrical Water Pageant which is performed nightly on the water beginning at 9:30 PM. There is a “public” balcony that you can view from, or you may be lucky and be able to view it from your very own balcony!

I hope you have a magical time at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! Come see us again real soon,

    Jen
