Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and I am wanting to know what is the best way to get to the Magic Kingdom? Bus or Boat? How often do they come and is there a sign that post arrival/waiting times? Thanks.

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of our favorite Walt Disney World Resorts!! 

    One of the great options of Disney's Wilderness Lodge is the flexibility to be able to get to the Magic Kingdom by either bus or boat.  Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are shared by the Wilderness Lodge bus, so you have to factor this in when thinking of your travel time to the Magic Kingdom.  

    I am personally a big fan of the boat transportation whenever it is available.  It is such a different way to travel and provides some beautiful views and scenery.  The boat ride from Disney's Wilderness Lodge offers some beautiful views of Disney's Contemporary Resort and the other surrounding areas of Bay Lake.  

    There isn't a sign that posts arrival/wait times, but our history with the boat transportation is that it is very reliable and frequent.  We have never been disappointed with the boat transportation system at any of the Walt Disney World Resorts.
