    HI, We are staying at Wilderness Lodge but thinking of a visit to AK Lodge.How long is the bus ride from AKL to WL, going through Downtown Disney? Is it a far walk between the bus stops? Are the buses comfortable? Thanks.

    Hi Carol,

    The bus ride from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Downtown Disney will take approximately 30 minutes and then the bus ride from Downtown Disney to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will take around 25 minutes. You will also have to make an allowance for time spent waiting for the buses to arrive. 

    The bus stops for all of the resorts are located in the same place and I have always found the buses to be comfortable although they can get crowded and you may not always get a seat.

    The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort and well worth a visit.
