Hiya Nancy!
Welcome back again to planDisney! Nancy, you are waking up at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge and then having breakfast at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Do you realize how beautiful your morning will be?
I have good news, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, while part of Walt Disney World Resort, is not a theme park. It's a Resort Hotel, so no ticket is needed. However, guests visiting the Resorts must have a reason to be there. If your family is joining you for breakfast then make sure to share the reservation details with them. I like to screenshot my reservation from the app with others so that they can show it to security at the Resort's entry gate. This Resort tends to be especially vigilant at confirming details like this so make sure your family has that reservation screenshot handy. It's ok if your name is on the reservation. Security may ask your family to park in a certain area as well.
If they are looking to visit the actual theme parks after this time together then they will have to leave and park their vehicle in the appropriate lot. The closest park to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is
Magic Kingdom Park. If they wish to head over to this Park they will have to leave their car in the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot and travel by boat or
monorail to the "Most Magical Place on Earth." They would of course have to have a ticket to enter this Park which could be purchased online or at the ticket booths in front of the Park. If they are Florida residents, make sure they bring their valid photo IDs that show Florida residency so that they can take advantage of any
resident deals. I hope you have a delicious and fun time with your family!
Happy Planning!
