Staying at Wilderness Lodge, but the rest of our family is at Bay Lake Towers. Will we be able to get together at either pool so the cousins can swim together on our non-park day? (We are DVC, they are not.) THANKS!

    Hi Amanda,

My family just stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas this summer, and we just fell in love with the place! You will only be a short boat ride away from the Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Towers, so it will be quite easy to meet up with all of the cousins.  As Disney Vacation Club Members, we are allowed to Pool Hop at any of the DVC resort pools except the Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Towers, the pools at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Stormalong Bay and the pools at the Beach Club.  So technically, you will need to invite your family over to the Wilderness Lodge.  I would recommend spending some time over at Ft. Wilderness Campground as well.  You can go horseback riding and there are archery lessons so you can learn to shoot like Merida in Brave!  The Trail's End Restaurant is fantastic and literally has the best fried chicken that I have ever had!   I know you will have such a magical family reunion, Amanda.  Thank you for the question and let me know if I can help you further.  Welcome Home!
