    I will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge Resort in August 2009. I have vacationed in WDW many times, but will will be my first stay at WL. I am curious if traveling via boat to MK and then monorail to Epcot is faster than taking a WL bus to Epcot.

    If it were me, I would probably opt to take a bus from the Wilderness Lodge to Epcot. If you were to take the boat to the Magic Kingdom, the monorail would take you to the Transportation and Ticket Center. At the TTC you would need to switch monorails in order to get to Epcot. 

    The time it would take you to transfer from the boat to a monorail and then to yet another monorail would most likely be about the same or longer than just waiting for a bus that would take you directly to Epcot.

    If time is not an issue, and you would like to enjoy the different transportation methods offered, then it could be fun to ride the boat and monorails. However, if you are looking for the fastest route, I would stick to the bus.
