    We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge for one before hopping over to AKL for the rest of our trip. Can you refresh my memory of how to transfer luggage to AKL? Also, We will have groceries can I drop them off to AKL the day before we check in? Thanks.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    My family loves staying at different Disney Resort hotels during the same stay, and we are actually planning our next split-stay for next December! Since you are staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for one night only, I recommend contacting Bell Services upon arrival to arrange for your luggage transfer to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. They will work with you to set up a pick-up time. When they come for your bags you will be given a tag for all your items. Please note that it may take hours before your luggage is available at the next Disney Resort hotel, so make sure to keep important items you might need with you.

    I usually send groceries to my Disney Resort hotel, but I arrange to have them delivered a few hours before my arrival. Since you will have them with you, you can stop by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and check with Bell Services if they can keep them for you overnight. Please have your confirmation number with you. If you prefer to stay with your groceries at the first resort, please know that they can also transfer it for you with your luggage. I have done this during our last visit and everything was in a perfect state when we arrived at our second Disney Resort hotel.
