We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge in October and during Halloween. Would you suggest Mickeys Not So scary party for the 31st or should be do that before and somewhere like Downtown Disney on 31st? Thanks

    Hi Carly!

How fun to be at Walt Disney World for Halloween!  If I had my choice of dates, I would certainly choose Halloween to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Almost all of the party dates sell out each year, especially the dates leading up to Halloween, so you'll get the same crowd no matter which date you choose.  Downtown Disney used to participate in trick-or-treating through the shops and restaurants, but they no longer have a special event for Halloween.

Since Halloween night is a popular party night, be sure to keep an eye out for an announcement on the Disney Parks Blog for when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets go on sale.

Be sure to check out the resort activities at the Wilderness Lodge for any Halloween themed events going on during your stay.

    Have a magical day!
