We are staying at Wilderness Lodge this November and will be traveling to Magic Kingdom via the ferry. Will it be possible to keep our double stroller open on the boat or will we need to collapse it down. Thanks so much!

    Hi Anita!

I hope you enjoy Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  It is so beautiful there!

Unfortunately I can't give you a straight answer on your question because our experiences have differed.  If the ferry is at or near capacity, they might ask you to fold it.  If it is not, they'll let you park it in the handicap accessible row (if available).  Either way you will be able to travel with your stroller, whether or not you need to take the few extra seconds to fold it will be up to the Captain, so make sure you ask!

We've also had Captains that insist on the kids being OUT of the stroller (and seated with us), and Captains that have been ok with the kids staying in the stroller while the boat is in motion.  Ultimately, it is the Captain's decision since they are responsible for the safety of all those aboard.

    Have a magical vacation!
