    Staying at the Wilderness Lodge next month. Have friends staying at the Cabins/Campgrounds. Can you take a golf cart between the 2 areas? I've heard mixed comments/reviews if golf carts are allowed to travel between the 2. Thanks.

    Hi Christopher! I am answering your question as I sit outside our motor coach listening to the Magic Kingdom fireworks and loving the atmosphere here in Fort Wilderness.

    Golf carts are not allowed to leave the Fort Wilderness property at any time. You can walk or bike between the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness but carts are not allowed. If guests have seen carts this is because they somehow got through the system.

    It is a nice walk but not a short one so doing so in the middle of the heat of the day is not the most enjoyable. If you choose to take the hike check out the woods on either side of the trail to spot some deer along the way. I don't think there has ever been a time when I didn't see some sort of wildlife which makes it even more fun!
