Hi Nora! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm excited about your upcoming trip next March! It's never too early to start planning for your magical Disney getaway!
Getting around the Walt Disney World Resort by using
Disney Transportation is one of my favorite things to do. Whether you hop on a Disney bus, take a ride on the monorail, or glide through the sky on the
Disney Skyliner, each option is just as fun as the rest.
Since you'll be staying at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, boat transportation will be your best bet to get to the Magic Kingdom and the surrounding resorts. Unfortunately, there is not a boat that runs directly between the Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Contemporary Resort at this time. You'll need to take the watercraft to the Magic Kingdom, then either hop on the monorail or take a short, leisurely stroll over to the Contemporary Resort.
Since your visit is not until March, there is still plenty of time before your arrival. I would suggest checking with the front desk upon arrival to see if this watercraft service has made a return. You can also follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements about your stay.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a family favorite resort of ours. There are some fantastic dining options here, including character dining, table service, and quick service options! If meeting some of the Seven Dwarfs is on your list,
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is one of the only places you will get to see them.
Nora, I hope you have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort next year! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
Happy planning!
Greg
