We are staying at Wilderness Lodge 4/28-5/2 and have made several reservations for character breakfasts. How do we get from Wilderness Lodge to the other parks in the morning (before 9:00 am for reservations) without a vehicle?

    Hi Robert,

Character breakfasts are so much fun!  It's a great way to start your day off with some extra Disney magic and be ready to play in the parks right when they open.  Plus, you'll save time later by not having to stand in line to meet some of your favorite characters!

The buses typically start running an hour and a half before opening on normal days and two hours prior to opening on early entry days.  We often have 8:00 reservations and are able to get to the parks for our meal taking bus transportation.  To be sure, check with the concierge at your resort the night before, and they will let you know the best time for you to arrive at the bus stop.

If your reservation is at Cape May Cafe, I would suggest taking a cab to get to that restaurant.  You could also go to Hollywood Studios and walk or take a ferry from there, but it will add to your travel time.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
