Hi! When staying at the Wilderness lodge on Halloween, are you still able to trick or treat at the campground? Thanks in advance

    Welcome to planDisney, Shelby!

I hope you had a very spooktacular Halloween! Only 300+ days until next year’s boo-tiful celebrations, and not a moment too soon to start planning!

I made a special request with Madame Leota to look into her crystal ball to see what the future holds… but she was unable to pull an accurate telling from the spirits from beyond… so I’ll just have to let you know what previous policy has been at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. (Please note that policies and practices are always subject to change.)

The community of Guests at Fort Wilderness is pure magic! The decorations they put up for Halloween is always inspiring, and I hope to get a campsite during Halloween one of these years soon so I can enjoy the season’s festivities with my children. While trick-or-treating at the Fort Wilderness Campsites is usually available for Guests staying at Wilderness Lodge, Cast Members may enforce a “Campsite Guests only” rule for the Campsites if the crowds are too large. Please ask at the Front Desk of Wilderness Lodge on Halloween before you make the trek to the Campsites to be sure you’re adhering to all protocols for that night.

If you have any additional questions, Shelby, we do hope you’ll park your Doom Buggy at planDisney again!

    Hurry back,
    Allyn

I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
