Hi~ We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time in April. What is the best transportation option from there to Epcot other than the bus? Any other tips for our stay at WL is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Lynne!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge was recently voted as the Disney Parks Moms Panelists' favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the Disney Parks Moms Panel Awards!  You will not be disappointed with your choice.

Wilderness Lodge opened a brand new restaurant, Geyser Point Bar & Grill.  This Quick-Service restaurant is located near the main pool area and has an all-day menu.  The indoor lounge is beautiful with stunning views of the water.  It's a fabulous place to unwind and relax!  Check out the photos from the Disney Parks Blog article!  Activities are abundant including the recently refurbished Silver Springs Pool, nightly campfires with marshmallow roasting, Movies Under the Stars, boat rentals and more!  If your schedule allows, plan a Resort day to explore everything the Wilderness Lodge has to offer.

The easiest option for transportation between your hotel and Epcot is by Disney bus, but you can take the Monorail as an alternate mode of transportation.  You'll take the boat from the Wilderness Lodge marina to Disney's Magic Kingdom or Disney's Contemporary Resort, hop on the Monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center and then switch to the Epcot Monorail for a direct route right to the entrance.  The Epcot Monorail does have a beautiful ride and can be more comfortable than riding the bus.

    Have a magical day!
