    We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge this fall. We would like to get to Down Town Disney and The Boardwalk. Can we get there by boat from the Wilderness Lodge? Or is it better to go by bus? Thanks so much!

    Hi Barry!

          I love staying at the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  I have stayed there 4 times since 2011!  The boats from the Wilderness Lodge Resort go to the Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground (the boats from Wilderness Lodge do not go to Downtown Disney).  To get to Downtown Disney from the Wilderness Lodge Resort you will have to take a bus.  If you want to go to the Boardwalk Resort, then I would recommend taking the boat to Magic Kingdom and then take a bus to the Boardwalk Resort (this should be your quickest way other than taking a taxi which costs money).

    I hope that your Fall 2014 Walt Disney World vacation is truly amazing in every way!
