We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge during our upcoming October 2015 trip & have 7am breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's during our stay. What is the quickest and most convenient way to get from WL to the Contemporary?

    Hey Steffanie-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I absolutely love, love, love Chef Mickey’s. Being in the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney’s Contemporary Resort while dining on omelets, pastries and of course Mickey Waffles is always a trip highlight. We can’t wait for our hugs from Mickey and the rest of the “Fab 5” in their chef attire.

Disney Transportation buses, most days, will begin shuttling Guests around 6:30 a.m. for early dining experiences. I spoke with the concierge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and she said the Early Dining Bus usually picks up at 6:45 a.m. to take you to the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The ferry between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Contemporary Resorts will begin sailing about one hour before Magic Kingdom Park opens so this is not an option for you.

Disney Dad Tip: Speak with the concierge the day before your dining experience to firm up the details. I would also tell the bus driver that you have reservations at 7:00 a.m. at Chef Mickey’s before you board and ask if the bus will stop at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for you.

Steffanie enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
