We will be staying at the Wilderness lodge during May, our first visit with our kids (4 and 6). Is there a good place to see the fireworks and electric water pagaent from the property?

    Hi Jennifer!

My son and I really love the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  We had the opportunity to stay there two times in 2010!  A great tip for you is to make sure that you take the free Wilderness Lodge Tour given by a Wilderness Lodge Ranger everyday at 9:00 am!

The Magic Kingdom fireworks are almost impossible to see from the Wilderness Lodge because of the large trees that surround the Wilderness Lodge.  I would recommend that you take a boat to the Magic Kingdom and then the Monorail or boat to the Polynesian Resort or the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to view the Magic Kingdom Fireworks with Cinderella Castle in the background.

Yes, you can see the Electrical Water Pageant because it stops at the Wilderness Lodge Resort.  You will need to go to the boat docks at the rear of the Wilderness Lodge Resort to view the Electrical Water Pageant. You will have to walk past the Wilderness Lodge Pool keeping to the left and look for signs for boats to the Magic Kingdom. When you get to the dock, walk to the very end of the dock to have a great view of this nighttime water parade. You can check with the front desk for the exact times that the Electrical Water Pageant is scheduled to pass by the Wilderness Lodge that evening. I have seen the Electrical Water Pageant from the Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock and it was simply amazing!

I hope that you make some amazing memories on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
