    We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge for Christmas 2018. Does the water taxi take you to the ticket/transp. center or directly to the Magic Kingdom? If there Early Morning hours, will the taxi be available or will we need to use the bus? Thank you!

    Did you say you're going to be staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for Christmas? I'm so excited for you! Be sure to set aside some time simply to relax in a comfortable chair in the lobby to soak up the atmosphere. The Christmas tree there is breathtaking. I hope you will have your camera at the ready at all times.

    If you take the water launch from the back of your resort to the Magic Kingdom, it will not stop at the Ticket & Transportation Center; it will drop you off right in front of the Magic Kingdom. The water launch will start running earlier on days when the park offers Extra Magic Hours in the morning. There is no need to take a bus if you do not wish to do so. The direct water launch between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Magic Kingdom is such a lovely ride. Taking the bus may be a bit quicker (approximately four minutes), but nothing beats that enchanting boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.
