    Hi - We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and have breakfast reservations for 7:00am at Chef Mickey over at the Contemporary Resort - what is the best way to get there at that time of day? Is this too early for a boat?

    Hi Andrew,

    It's lovely to be able to assist a fellow Brit with the planning of an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    As far as I am aware, the Blue Flag Boats which go to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort run from 6:45 AM - 11:30 PM and the Red Flag Boats which go to the Magic Kingdom, operate from a half hour before the Magic Kingdom opens to an hour and a half after the Magic Kingdom closes. 

    As your Advance Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's is for 7:00 AM, I would say that it is unlikely that you will be able to get a boat early enough to allow you to arrive for your breakfast on time.

    I would however definitely recommend that you speak to a Cast Member when you arrive at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort to confirm what time the boats will begin operating on the day of your Advance Dining Reservation. If they will not be running early enough, I would say that a taxi will be your best bet.
