Greetings from planDisney, Tara and welcome back! It's great to see you hEAR planning another trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Tara, as a
Disney Vacation Club Member who loves slower-paced resort days, I'm thrilled to chat with you. One of the reasons my family and I originally became Disney Vacation Club Members was our love of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Even when we choose not to visit the parks, we have a Magical time enjoying all of the activities you're referencing.
As a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, there are some activities that you're welcome to experience at other resorts while some are reserved only for guests of that resort. For example, the pools are exclusively for resort guests, so you can leave your swimsuit at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Paid activities, however, are available for booking, so... hitch up your saddle and
mosey on over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for some fun on horseback!
Tara, a "non-park" day is also a great opportunity to try new restaurants which you can pair with activities at that resort. For example, if you'd like to spend some time at Disney's flagship property, after
dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe, make sure to enjoy some games on the lawn!
Tara, I hope this helps as you're planning for your next visit to Walt Disney World. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions. Like the popular Minnie Mouse headbands, we are all EARS!
Lauren
