Staying Wilderness hotel 3/13-3/16. Grandparents (2) need 2 scooters. How are scooters transported to each Disney park and returned to hotel.

Hey there, Liz, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for popping by with your question!

There's no age limit when it comes to Disney magic, so I'm thrilled to hear that you're bringing the grandparents along to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I love visiting Walt Disney World with my entire family, and I can't wait to help make some magic for yours. Let's scoot right to it!

Disney World is a very big place, so it's great that you're already thinking about how to get around. First of all, you should know that the older members of your party have several options for renting an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle (ECV). The first option is to rent an ECV on-site in Disney World. Daily ECV rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis at all four theme parks, both water parks, and at Disney Springs.

Daily ECV rentals are a great option if you'll only need them inside the parks, but it sounds like your family will need them for the entire length of your stay. If you haven't already, you may want to check out ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider of Electronic Conveyance Vehicles. ScooterBug will work with Disney Cast Members to deliver your scooters directly to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel! To pre-order your scooters, click here and scroll to the middle of the page, where you'll find contact information for ScooterBug.

Now let's talk about getting around with an ECV in Disney World! Disney World's Resort & Theme Park Transportation system is convenient, easy to use, and generally accessible for ECV users. In fact, most forms of Disney transportation (including Disney buses, the monorail, and the Disney Skyliner) can accommodate ECVs. While many boats can also accommodate scooters, it's important to know that access can depend on the type of boat and existing water levels and conditions. I hope this is helpful, Liz, and that your upcoming visit is full of magic and memories! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
