    Staying at Ft Wilderness for the first time in 25 years this August! Is there a deli in Ft Wilderness? If so can you buy cold cuts or only sandwiches? thanks!

    Hi Annmarie!  I am a frequent visitor at Fort Wilderness as we have a motor coach we enjoy bringing down so we can bring our dogs!

    Fort Wilderness has two trading posts stores. One is located near the marina and Pioneer Hall and the other is centrally located near the main pool and the Bike Barn. Both will have pre packaged cold cuts and other staple items such as bread, eggs, milk, juices, and condiments. The one near the pool will have more items available such as cereals, donuts, pizza, and frozen meals. Neither will have a fresh deli. You also have an option to order some take out items such as chicken and fresh pizzas and some sandwiches at the carry out location for Trails End which is the restaurant at Pioneer Hall. We have often gotten the pizza or chicken for nights we just didn't want to cook or dine out and both items are very good.
