    We're staying at the Ft. Wilderness campsites and have a 7:15 reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I read that the boats don't begin running until 6:45. I'm very concerned that we'll miss our reservation!

    Hi Samantha! Fort Wilderness is a great choice of places to stay while vacationing at Walt Disney World. And of course Chef Mickey's is my favorite character dining reservation on property!

    The boats do indeed begin running from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary resort at 6:45am. If you are down at the marina to catch this first boat you will not have any issues about making your reservation time. Two weeks ago my husband and I were on the first boat to reach the Magic Kingdom so we arrived at the Contemporary and walked to the park. It will only take about 10 minutes to reach the resort and then a short 5 minute walk up to the restaurant on the 4th floor. You will have no issues but be sure and be down at the dock about 5 minutes early! The Contemporary boat line is on the right side. Have fun!
