If we are staying at Wilderness campgrounds, can we use the pools at other resort areas?

    Hi Gretchen!

The Fort Wilderness Resort is one of my favorite places to stay while vacationing at Walt Disney World. Each fall we head down with our motor coach and "camp" for weeks while enjoying the Disney magic. You will be amazed at the peacefulness you will feel and the sounds of nature that will almost make you think you are in a Disney attraction.

Fort Wilderness has two pools on site. The largest one is the Meadows Pool which is located in the center of the camping loops. It has a large slide and a great kids splash area. As part of the area around the pool you will find picnic area, volleyball nets, tennis courts, shuffleboard, canoe rentals and much more. It is truly a recreational area for all interests. The pool among the cabins is more like a lap type pool and much smaller but also a great place to cool off.

Disney does not allow resort pool hopping for its guests. This is to make sure no pool becomes over crowded and dangerous. Only guests of each specific resort can use that resort pool during their stay. You will really enjoy the Fort Wilderness facilities and find it easy to use and quick to get to no matter where you are located in the loops.
