We are staying at the Wilderness campgrounds and are checking out on Thursday November 29,2019. I want to check out and go spend some time at Disney Springs? Is there space to park a truck and camper at Disney Springs? If not, what is an alternative?

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon! I love the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I feel like staying at Fort Wilderness gives you two vacations in one. When you venture out you get to enjoy world-class theme parks and you get to return to the serenity of Fort Wilderness.

Disney Springs is truly worth spending some of your time. The parking used to be complicated but since they have built parking garages there is more room for everyone. While the new garages have plenty of height clearance, I believe with the length of a truck and camper you will need to park in one of the surface lots. There is a large lot, the Strawberry Lot, which should have plenty of space for you to park.

The World of Disney at Disney Springs has been re-imagined so be sure to stop by and check it out. I'll also recommend my favorite shop for interesting gifts, Sugarboo & Co. I would also be remiss if I didn't recommend a cupcake from Sprinkles!

Kimberly, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
