    We are going to be staying at the Ft. Wilderness Campground in our travel trailer and I know that they rent golf carts at the camp grounds. My question is are you alllowed to bring ATV such as four wheelers or mopeds to use instead of their golf carts???

    Hi Valerie,

    For the safety of everyone at Fort Wilderness Campground, WDW does impose very strict rules/guidelines as to what you may drive, where you may drive as well as where you can park.  They do not allow any noisy, large or utility type vehicles and you may bring your own golf cart as long as it has mounted headlights and working break lights.  Mopeds are not allowed to be used apart from if you would like to use it on the main roads (20 MPH or less) as a form of transportation instead of using a vehicle, but you would not be able to park it at the Golf Cart parking locations because a moped cannot use the golf cart trails at all.  If you would like to follow up with Fort Wilderness directly about this subject, you may do so by calling (407) 824-2900 where you can speak directly with a Recreation Manager who will be able to help you with any other questions you may have about vehicles that are/are not allowed to be used at FWCG.  Hope this helps.
