We are staying at the Wilderness Campground. Are there public/community showers available?

Hi Kerry! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Tomorrow is the big day! It is the day that you begin your stay at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I know you must be thrilled! A stay at this Disney Resort gives you the relaxing atmosphere of nature, plus the magic of the theme parks. It truly is the best of both worlds!

You will be happy to know that there are Comfort Stations located around the resort that include sinks, toilets, and private shower stalls. In my research, I found a great answer from my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Kay, that goes into more detail about the Comfort Stations, and I think you will find it very helpful! She mentions that you will want to bring your own bath products and towels, so be sure to add both to your packing list.

I hope you have set aside plenty of time to explore the many recreational activities that are available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. From archery, to sleigh rides, to bike rentals, to Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, there is a LOT to do without even leaving the campgrounds!

Enjoy your vacation, Kerry! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
